This teacher should believe in giving homework every night. Homework reinforces what was taught and learned in class and gives the parent and the teacher a chance to see if the child understands that information.
For example, some programs use incentive tools similar to those found in video games. Each time a child completes a satisfactory score on a worksheet, the program congratulates them and gives them a score. With each level, the score increases. After a certain number of points, the student reaches a named level, such as captain or commodore.
Maintaining this information lets you know what you are thinking and feeling when you enter and exit trades and lets you know if your trading tools are working properly. It also shows you if you are exiting too quickly or if you are going against your trading plan.
As children become more confident in their math skills, give them worksheets one grade level above their current grade. Help them if necessary, but when students become successful in the upper level workbooks; their confidence will really improve. The seed will be planted early and parents can watch as it grows.
